Jim Majka has been involved in the marketing and sale of real estate on the Virginia Peninsula for over 30 years. Jim was born in the south, grew up in the Seattle area, and then moved with his family to Hampton Roads when his father took a job with NASA. Jim then completed a BS in Math at Old Dominion University. He spent eleven years teaching math and science before finding his true love in the real estate field.
Jim holds a Real Estate Brokers License in Virginia and North Carolina.
Jim, and his wife Sheila, have lived in York County since 1981, enjoying waterfront living all these years. Both enjoy the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries… boating, fishing and crabbing during the year. They have owned various watercrafts and have cruised throughout the Bay region. Needless to say, Jim specializes in waterfront sales, from lots, to acreage, to fine homes. Jim also is very active in the community. He has served eight years on the York County School Board (two years as Chairman), is a leader in the Kiwanis Club of Grafton, also a member of other York County Boards and Committees and is a member of the Seaford Yacht Club.
